"Libra" Approaches Class IV Emergency Response to Typhoons in Fujian Province

Fuzhou, August 22nd, this year, No. 14 typhoon "Libra", 14 o'clock center is located at 22.2 degrees north latitude, longitude 124.4 degrees east, is about 623 kilometers ocean in Putian City, Fujian Province, near the center rated wind force 13 (40 meters / Second), low pressure 960 hPa, 7 wind radius of 240 km.

In response, the Fujian Flood Control Office revealed that according to the "Prevention Plan for Flood Control and Typhoon Prevention of Fujian Province", the emergency response to Typhoon Class IV has been started at 10:00 on August 22nd.

The Fujian Provincial Meteorological Observatory predicts that “Libra” will move westward at a speed of about 10 kilometers per hour, gradually approaching the southern coast of Taiwan, and will land along the coast from the afternoon of the 23rd to the evening.
