A wear-resistant epoxy-based coating developed by the Institute of Materials Science and Engineering at Chongqing Institute of Technology has been successfully applied by users in various industrial settings. This advanced coating is based on an oxy-resin system and is composed of three main components: a self-made modified epoxy resin, a curing agent, and high-hardness ceramic particles of different sizes, which act as wear-resistant fillers.
