Nexteer Automotive Systems announced that it has appointed Laurent Bresson as its chief operating officer, effective immediately. After taking up his new position, Bresson will continue to be responsible for Nexteer's global sales operations and will manage the daily activities of the company's various departments. All departments and regional executives will report to Bresson. Bresson, 40, previously served as Nexteer’s senior vice president and chief operating officer of the International Department, responsible for all of the company’s business activities in Australia, India, South Korea, Mexico, Brazil, and Europe. Prior to this, Bresson served as vice president of Nexteer’s European regional marketing business. Bresson currently works in Paris, France. After taking up his new position, Bresson will work at Nexteer's headquarters in Saginaw, Michigan.
