From the moment you step into the Autodesk Dublin office, you're greeted by an energetic atmosphere and a team full of passion. Just over 18 months ago, this space was just the beginning of Autodesk’s EMEA hub. Today, it's a thriving center of innovation and collaboration. Join our team in Dublin and come shape the future of making with us. We chose Dublin for its global business environment, access to top talent, multilingual capabilities, and the high quality of life it offers. Over time, we've learned a lot, but one thing is clear—Dublin is a vibrant, multicultural city that perfectly aligns with Autodesk’s values and culture. In just 18 months, we’ve grown from a small team to 230 employees. To support this growth, we’re excited to announce the opening of an entire new floor at our office on 1 Windmill Lane, doubling our capacity to 400 employees. This expansion was celebrated earlier this year with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Martin Shanahan, CEO of IDA Ireland, and Minister Patrick Breen. The strength of our team and the rich talent pool in Ireland have played a key role in this success. We now have over 30 nationalities working together, collaborating with colleagues and customers around the world. It's a diverse and inclusive environment where ideas flourish. Martin Gurren, Client Services Director and Site Lead for Autodesk in Dublin, has witnessed the journey firsthand. “It’s been an incredible experience watching the team grow and build a strong sense of community. This office is essential in supporting both our EMEA and global teams, helping us fulfill our mission to empower people to imagine, design, and make a better world.” Collaboration with IDA Ireland has been instrumental in our growth. Martin Shanahan praised the company’s decision to expand: “Autodesk’s continued investment in Ireland reflects the strength of our tech talent pool. This expansion is a testament to their confidence in the future of the company here.” Andrea Reger, Senior Recruiter at the Dublin office, leads the local talent acquisition efforts. Her team’s work earned recognition at the Irish HR Champion Awards 2019, winning the award for Champion Talent Acquisition Programme. “Support from IDA and the Irish business community has been crucial. Ensuring a positive experience for all employees, whether local or international, is a priority. Many also enjoy participating in local initiatives and community activities.” Over 100 employees joined the Dublin Pride Parade in July 2019, showcasing the inclusive and vibrant culture of the office. Led by Michelle Rogers, the HR team in Ireland is driving an employee engagement program rooted in Autodesk’s evolving culture. They’ve introduced various well-being initiatives focusing on physical, mental, and social health. These programs are continuously refined based on employee feedback. The Dublin office houses a wide range of functions, including R&D, engineering, localization, technical support, client services, sales, finance, operations, HR, and recruitment. These teams are expected to grow further in the coming years. Additionally, we're expanding our marketing and business development team in Dublin to support construction solutions across EMEA. Employees in Dublin actively participate in global initiatives like the Month of Impact. In May, they joined the Solar Buddy project, demonstrating the impact we can make through innovation and collaboration. Raphael Racine, Senior Software Engineering Manager, has been with Autodesk for 22 years. “Relocating to Dublin was a great opportunity both professionally and personally. Building an international team, experiencing a new culture, and bringing my family here has been an amazing adventure.” Each floor of the building was designed by Jenny Lum using Autodesk Revit, allowing her to visualize the space before construction began. The design draws inspiration from iconic elements of Dublin, such as the River Liffey, Georgian architecture, and local street art. One of the highlights of the new floor is the Product Experience Lab—a space where employees can experiment with Autodesk software, learn how customers use it, and collaborate on new ideas. Workshops and classes are regularly held to help teams develop their skills and knowledge. Employees can also explore manufacturing tools like 3D printing in the lab, gaining hands-on experience with the same technologies used by our customers. As we continue to grow in Ireland, EMEA, and globally, we’re committed to expanding our Dublin operation with more space and talented people. Attracting and retaining the right talent is key to helping our customers solve complex design and manufacturing challenges—both in Ireland and beyond.
