Mercury ore is mostly distributed in strips. When the ratio of length to short axis of ore body is 5..1~10..1, it is better to use the exploration line method to arrange the project. The direction of the exploration line should be perpendicular to the long axis of the ore body. Exploration methods use drilling and pit exploration. When the deposit is of type I and II, the drilling is mainly for C+D, the type I is verified by tunnel inspection, and the type II is suitable for tunnel exploration. Type III and IV are drilled to match the tunnel to find the C+D level; when the C is graded, the type III is matched with a certain number of tunnels, and the type IV is drilled in the pit.
