Excerpts from woodtv.com:

Hundreds of police officers and firefighters from across the Midwest joined community members in Kalamazoo on Wednesday to honor Comstock Township Fire Chief Ed Switalski, who was struck by a vehicle and killed last week while responding to an emergency call.

The chief was laid to rest with full honors, including a duty medal presentation, a bell ceremony, a playing of Taps, a flag folding, a 21-gun salute, and his final call. Every speaker at the event, whether family or friend, spoke about his selfless nature and deep care for others.

“He always put others first. He was there when my Auntie Holly fought breast cancer and even donated his kidney to his nephew Christopher,” said his niece.

Switalski leaves behind a wife and two daughters, one of whom gave a heartfelt speech during the funeral. “I’m honored to be the last family member to see and speak to him,” she said. “Before every call, my mom, my sister, and I would say, ‘I love you. Be safe.’ Those were the last words I ever said to him.”

Before the final call was sounded, hundreds of firefighters from Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois — where Switalski worked for over 30 years before becoming fire chief in Comstock Township in 2013 — took part in the funeral procession.

A restored 1937 fire truck carried his body 24 miles through downtown Kalamazoo and Comstock Township to the Wings Event Center. Nearly 200 fire engines followed. People lined the streets to show their gratitude and pay their respects.

The procession continued past Comstock’s three fire stations. At the River Street station, Switalski’s gear and helmet were placed on the apron as Battle Creek firefighters stood in for the local crew, who were attending the funeral. None of the BCFD members had met Switalski, but they chose to help out on their day off.

“It’s a great honor to support these firefighters and their chief,” said BCFD Lt. Lamar Mingle.

Gov. Rick Snyder ordered all U.S. and Michigan flags to be lowered to half-staff in honor of Switalski.

Rotating Parts

Modern false twist texturing (DTY) machines are equipped with up to four nip roller feeds per texturing position. Nip rollers have a major impact on the drawing process and therefore exert a direct influence on the quality of the textured yarn. Our products ensure a significant reduction in power consumption while maximizing productivity.

Stop twister is used in the false twisting process of synthetic fibers and is intended to prevent twisting. Therefore, it is also called a non-twist wheel. There are two types: metal with hard chrome plating and ceramic.

For PU disc ,we are available in a variety of thicknesses and diameters, the product offers the most suitable dimensions, adheres to tight manufacturing tolerances and ensures strict quality control for the best results for specific yarn ranges and processes.
