Because of its high degree of automation, simple driving operation, and easy to turn off the car, automatic car models are more suitable for stop-and-go city driving, and thus become the first choice for more and more urban consumers. However, there are many problems to be noticed in driving automatic models. There are six taboos that need attention, Xiao Bian put them together.

Taboo 1: When decelerating or going downhill, switch to N-range to coast to save fuel

After shifting into N-range, the transmission oil in the transmission is only supplied by the idle oil pump to cope with local lubrication when the vehicle is at a standstill.

While driving the vehicle, it is necessary to have sufficient lubricating oil in the D block or other drive mechanism so that all transmission gears and multi-disc clutches can be lubricated. Otherwise, over time, the automatic transmission will gradually be damaged due to insufficient lubrication. What is more dangerous is to switch to N block when driving downhill to save fuel. The automatic transmission will really burn out due to lack of lubrication pressure, or it will cause misery due to loss of power control.

Taboo 2: When driving at high speed, suddenly switch to low gear (1,2,3)

Each forward gear in the automatic transmission has its maximum speed limit. So be careful not to push the gear from D to 1, 2 or 3 while driving.

If your transmission is in a high range, forcibly pushed to the low gear, huh, huh, I do not have to say that the sound of killing chicken will make you feel bad and depressed for a while. If the transmission is damaged, it can belong to the repair, the cost of 4 to 5 that!

Taboo 3: When parked in the parking space, the car is not completely stopped and it is switched into the R block.

Some car owners used the wrong operation for a long time and consumed the clutch plates in the transmission. They spent a lot of money and complained about the quality of the car. When the car is not completely stopped, the D gear is shifted into the R gear, and a momentary “reverse rotation pressure” is generated to push toward the reverse clutch disc. Over the years, the clutch disc will be excessively worn.

Taboo IV: Optional trailers for automatic cars

When an automatic transmission fails and needs to be sent to a repair shop, it is best to lift the drive wheel and then drag the trailer. Otherwise, the transmission may be damaged. Because the auto-transmission oil pump cannot operate after a car failure, the components lack lubrication and proper cooling. When the drive wheel is dragged and dragged, the transmission will be operated together. Therefore, after a certain distance is dragged, the transmission will be damaged. If this is not possible, it must be noted that the speed of the trailer should not be too fast, should not exceed 5 km/h, and the distance of the trailer should not be too long, preferably within 20 km.

If the automatic car cannot be started due to lack of power, you must not try to use a manual pusher to push the car. This will not only damage the transmission, but it will not be able to start. The only salvage is to use the "help line" to jumpstart the power supply of other cars.

Taboo 5: After the cold car starts in the winter, the warm car will immediately go up and accelerate.

We all know that if the cold car engine is not warmed up after the start, various parts of the organization will accelerate its wear and tear and cause internal injuries. The transmission oil in the automatic transmission also needs to warm up to the normal temperature after the warm-up, so that the normal operation of the components without wearing parts.

In addition, when idlers have a higher idle speed, they generally do not exceed 1000 rpm. If they start, this will cause a start-up shock. If you can not warm the car, but also to start moderately, use a slow road warmer, avoid a road on the fierce step on the accelerator.

Taboo Six: When you climb up and down the steep slope, you keep hanging D

When you are on a steep slope, if you are hanging in D, you may feel that the transmission is busy shifting, it will rise, and it will drop. At this time, it hurt the transmission. It should be stopped by the brakes, hang 1, 2 or 3 and then start. Which specific block to hang depends on your specific situation. For example, the slope of an ordinary hand-carriage 2 block can be up, and the automatic transmission has been busy, so it should be correct to put it on the 2nd gear.

On the steep slopes, if you hang in D, you may need to use the brakes to control the speed; if you use the brakes for a long time, the brakes may be inefficient because of overheating, which is dangerous; and there are many mountain roads Asphalting, Shi Zilu slams on the brakes even more dangerous, even with ABS. The correct way is to stop the brakes first and then hang 1, 2 or 3 gears and start them. The same as above, with reference to the gear of the manual transmission, it is decided to use several gears.
