Lithium-ion batteries are widely used in portable electronic products such as mobile phones and notebook computers. The main reason is that lithium-ion batteries must use flammable organic solvents as electrolytes, while zinc-based batteries can use aqueous solutions as electrolytes, which greatly reduces battery fire.
