The Towable Electromagnetic Sweeper is designed to remove ferrous debris from various surfaces, including runways, roads, ports, and large industrial areas. Its powerful electromagnetic system efficiently captures both small and large metal objects, ensuring a safer environment for aircraft and personnel.

Bunting’s Custom Electromagnetic Sweepers for an Indonesian Airport

The sweepers are easily attached to the back of a vehicle, such as a service truck or SUV, using a durable tow hitch. They feature two wheels for smooth movement and a control panel inside the vehicle for easy operation. Operators can turn the magnet on and off, allowing for quick release of collected metal debris.

Designed for outdoor use, these sweepers operate at speeds between 5 and 6 mph. They come in widths ranging from 1200mm to 2440mm and can be customized to fit specific needs.

The three EMRS24 models deployed in Indonesia each have a 2440mm-wide magnet and weigh about 1500 kg. Powered by a 220VAC generator and a Honda gasoline engine, they include an auto-reverse start/stop button and a flashing beacon to indicate the magnet’s status.
